Today, we released v0.9.0 of the HemiStereo SDK. The new release brings support for password authentication and TLS encrypted communication with the HemiStereo device. The TLS encryption is optional an can be enabled/disabled by the client that connects to the sensor. To use it, a server certificate must be installed on the HemiStereo device. New devices will already be shipped with a valid certificate. For older devices, please follow this guide to create a new one.
